What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional therapy, in a nutshell, is food as therapy. 

  • Nutritional therapy shows you how food can help you achieve optimal health, increase your energy levels and general wellbeing. 

 

  • Nutritional therapy aims to prevent and relieve a wide range of health problems through nutrition and lifestyle changes.  Sometimes nutritional and herbal supplements can be used to speed up the healing process. 

 

 

  • Nutritional therapy seeks to relieve a person’s symptoms but also addresses the underlying cause (for example, skin problems are often linked to digestive problems or liver detoxification problems). 

 

  • It looks at the person as a whole rather than isolating the symptoms and combines a scientific approach with natural medicine.
