The Consultation

Before coming to the consultation, I ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire.  This questionnaire enables me to assess your diet, health and lifestyle, including any imbalances in your body systems (ex: immune system; digestive system; liver / detoxification system,  etc).

The  Nutritional Therapy Consultation usually lasts between 1 ½ to 2 hours.  During this time, I address the probable causes or triggers of your health concerns and the role of nutrition in relieving  them.

Together, we draw up a detailed meal plan geared towards relieving your health concerns. This meal plan will take into account your food preferences, your cooking practices and any budget and time constraints – I know only too well that if you’re not happy with the meal plan, it’s not going to work in the long-term.

Nutritional or herbal supplements may be recommended, although the focus is firmly fixed on diet and lifestyle changes.

Sometimes I might suggest using non-invasive testing to assess nutritional status, toxin levels, hormonal balance, stress hormone levels, digestive health, allergies etc.

Depending on the nature of your health concern, you may need to have two, three or more consultations.  The consultations are usually 4 – 6 weeks apart.  This gives you time to put the diet and lifestyle changes into practice and see their benefits.

Fee:  the first consultation costs € 75.  Follow-up consultations cost € 50.
